Margie Lifsey Wall, 80, of Hahira died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at her home. She was born in Coolidge on August 2, 1928 to the late Thomas A. and Lucye Fenn Bryant. Mrs. Wall was retired from Valdosta State University and was a Baptist. She loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren. Mrs. Wall was an avid Braves fan and was known to all as "Mimie".
Survivors include two daughters and a son in law, Ginger and Freddie Taylor of Hahira, Kendra Burns of Valdosta, a stepson, Peter Wall of Pensacola, Fla., grandchildren, Matt Taylor, Aaron (Rebecca) Taylor, Ben (Lori) Taylor, Josh (Laila) Taylor, Luke Taylor, Justin Burns, Tyler Wall and Ginny Wall, great grandchildren, Sawyer Taylor, Kolten Taylor, Perry Taylor and Lane Sheirling, five sisters and a brother in law, Lela Pilkington of Coolidge, Dorothy Johnson of Albany, Opal Tillman of Coolidge, Nell DeLoach of Hinesville and Frances and Louie Hicks of Thomasville, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Carden Lifsey and Ralph Wall, one sister, Mary Trimarco and two brothers, Randolph Bryant and Thomas Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Monday, March 16, 2009 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Graham and Rev. Stanley Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Moultrie. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
