Margaret Harvey Miller

Margaret Harvey Miller of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Langdale Place in Valdosta. Born in Waycross on March 26, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Archie Columbus Harvey, Sr. and Amy Strickland Harvey. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waycross. For the past few years Mrs. Miller was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the Parham Sunday School Class.

Survivors include three sons, Donnie Miller and wife, Cathy of Peachtree City, Harvey Miller and wife, Jessie, Dal Miller and wife, Claire of Valdosta; grandchildren, Travis Miller and wife, Crockett, Brandon Miller and wife, Jenny, Jenny Taubel and husband, Wes, Katy Shaw and husband, Jason, Emily Miller, Dallas Miller, Jr., Sarah Miller, Mary Beth Tatum and husband, Josh, and Will Miller; greatgrandchildren, Mills Miller, Pepper Miller and Crockett Miller, Raines Miller, Lydia Miller, Anne Harvey Shaw, Betts Taubel; sister, Montine Ryle Hines of Ponte Vedre Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller, brother, A.C. Harvey and wife, Alice, and brother in law, Bill Ryle.

Graveside services for Mrs. Miller will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross. Reverend Willie Beasley and Reverend F. J. Beverly will officiate.
