Margaret B. Stalvey

Margaret B. Stalvey, 84, of Valdosta died Monday, June 14, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1925 in Hahira to the late William Henry and Jewell Omega Simms Branch. Mrs. Stalvey attended the Redland Baptist Church. She retired from South Georgia Medical Center where she worked as a Switchboard Operator.
Survivors include three daughters & sons in law, JoAnn & Richard Bantz of Valdosta, Linda & Tim Pickett, Loganville, Harriett Dove, Hahira: grandchildren, Cindy & Clay Parker, Deborah Green of Valdosta, Melissa & Jim Kilgore, Jason Dove of Hahira, Gary & Danica Dove of Jacksonville, FL, Natalie & Gregg Wanack, Loganville; numerous great & great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.T. Cain, Jr., Harry E. Stalvey; two brothers, Jimmy Branch, William H. Branch II, two sisters, Gloria Darby, Mary Wilson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stalvey will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
