Margaret Ann (Koski) Nargi, 72, of Valdosta died on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Langdale Hospice House following a brief illness. She was born on January 10, 1942 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to the late Francis and Margaret Krinock Koski. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and a former member of St. Anne and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sturbride, Massachusetts where she was a Eucharistic Minister, and was involved in many other activities within the parish. Her joys in life was raising her six children, and spending as much time as possible with her seventeen grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Robert Nargi of Valdosta; sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Nargi, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Virginia and James and Tina Nargi of Victor, New York; a daughter, Janice Nargi of Tucson, Arizona; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Irene Nargi of Winthrop, Massachusetts; daughters and a son-in-law, Karen Nargi of Valdosta and Andrea and Troy Schultz of Westminster, Colorado; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; parents-in-law, Michael and Theresa Nargi of Valdosta; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and Dan Rometo of Naples, Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Susan Koski of Latrobe, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Marjorie Koski of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Koski.
A memorial mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Brian LaBurt officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
