Margaret Adair Martin

MARGARET ADAIR MARTIN, 89, of Lake Park died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at home after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 5, 1916 in Ringold to the late William and Hattie Adair and had lived in Lowndes County since 1971. Mrs. Martin was retired from Templeton Nursing Homes and a member of the Dasher Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Mike and Donna Martin of Lake Park, five daughters and two sons in law, Bobbie and Morris Copeland of Valdosta, Melba Burke of Atlanta, Myra Hancock of Ocala, Fla., Mary Ann and Charlie Copeland of Lake Park and Rhonda Mead of Lake Park, 24-grandchildren, 28-great grandchildren and 5-great great grandchildren, one sister, Frances Doyle of Phoenix, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Martin and one son, David Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Dasher Church of Christ with Mr. David Nelson and Mr. Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery.
