Marcus Mckibbie Gramling, Jr.

Marcus McKibbie Gramling, Jr., 93, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Brooks County, Georgia to the late Marcus Sr., and Elizabeth King Gramling. Mr. Gramling was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during WWII. He retired from the City of Valdosta as a Construction Inspector and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Linda Gramling, and a grandson, Brian Gramling all of Decatur, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Carol Griffin Gramling; an infant daughter, Martha Sue Gramling; a son, Dan Gramling, and a grandson, Rob Gramling.
A private graveside service for Marcus McKibbie Gramling, Jr., will be held at the Redland Baptist Church Cemetery with Brian Gramling officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
