Mamie Deloach Maine, 85, of Valdosta, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was born on December 29, 1921 in Echols County to the late Abraham Tap and Henrietta Justice Deloach. Mrs. Maine was a lifelong homemaker, a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a Baptist.<br><br>Mrs. Maine is survived by her children and their spouses, Frances and Cecil Jarrard of Statenville, Jean and Wayne Davis, Eloise and Frank Helton of Mayday, Edward and Gail Maine of Valdosta, Bonnie and Kenneth Lowery of Cartersville, Sandra and Frank Reifel of Dallas, Bobby Maine of Valdosta, Janet and Allen McDowell and Margie and Bucky Davis of Dallas, grandchildren, Patsy Lane, Barbara Brown, Cecilia Bowdren, Selena Moore, Sharon Borg, Chris Jarrard, Michael Davis, Michelle Rewis, Hope Cortez, Tony Maine, Spencer Helton, Jessie Helton, Sherman Maine, Shannon Maine, Greg Register, Tim Register, Neil Warren, Jody Warren, Dusty Folsom, Trent Reifel, Jeremy Maine, Jessica Shepard, Joshua Hendley and Amanda Corbin, 42 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, sister and brother in law, Sadie and Fitzhugh Oliver of Valdosta, sister in law, Frances Deloach of Ocoee, FL, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Maine, one grandson, Jeffery Davis, three brothers and three sisters.<br><br>Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at three p. m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m.
