Mable Frances Plaire Credille

Mable Frances Plaire Credille, 90, of Valdosta died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1925 in Valdosta to the late Clifford L. and Reba Miley Plaire. Mrs. Credille attended the Northside Baptist Church and had been previously employed by Southern Bell Telephone Company and South Georgia Medical Center. She worked at Robbins Air Force Base in Warner Robins from 1941-1946. She was a passionate patriot and enjoyed reading about wartime history. Mrs. Credille also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Survivors include her sister, Jeanette Clanton of Hahira; her brother, Jim Plaire of Valdosta; three granddaughters, Sally Credille of Lawrence, KS, Caroline Credille of Philadelphia, PA, Emma and Dane Orders of Florence, MS; nephews and niece, Mike Clanton of Atlanta, Chad and Kathryn Plaire of Henderson, NV, Deena Plaire of Leesburg, GA; great nieces, Mary Frances Plaire, Haley Haas and Jessica Cain. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews , great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward David Credille, Sr., her son, Edward David Credille, Jr., one brother, Marvin Plaire and three sisters, Regenia Dickerson, Marjorie Plaire and Sara Catherine Plaire.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 18, 2015 at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Josh Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm until service time at the Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Northside Baptist Church, 200 E.
