Lynn Marie Sapp, 62, of Hahira passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 13, 1951 and had lived in Lowndes and Brooks Counties most of her life. Mrs. Sapp was a member of the Barney United Methodist Church and was employed by Southern Builders Supply. She enjoyed playing and swimming with her grandchildren, visiting the beach, Disney Cruises, crafts and working in her yard.
Survivors include her husband of forty six years, Bobby Sapp of Hahira, two daughters and sons in law, Stephanie and Jeff Rochester of Quitman, Kim and Michael Taylor of Southport, FL, five grandchildren, Neil Rochester, Eli Rochester, Bryce Taylor, Madison Taylor and Morgan Taylor, two sisters, Paula Barnes of Valdosta, Jan Simpson of Barney and a special aunt, Betty Taylor of Hahira, sister in law and brothers in law, Judy and Pete Cofield, Curtis Sapp all of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Sapp, her mother and stepfather, Frances Taylor Simpson and W. Russell Simpson, her father, William L. Moran, Jr. and a brother, Buddy Moran. The family will like to express their appreciation to the staff of Langdale Hospice House for their care during Mrs. Sapp's illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Rev. Dr. Charles L. McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in Morven. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home.
