Lyndia Ann DeLoach McAfee, Nana Sugar Mama, 72, of Fayetteville, Georgia gained her Angel Wings, October 3, 2018 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Fayetteville, Ga.
Lyndia was born October 11, 1945 in Remerton, Georgia to the late Ollie J and Estelle (Cowart) DeLoach. Lyndia enjoyed growing her flowers, painting, and all types of crafts. While she also enjoyed going to Estate and Yard sales with her sister, Faye (Mommy Daisy) and niece, Diane (Driving the Daises) she was referred to as Sister Daisy. Lyndia also enjoyed going to church with her sister Faye at Concord Methodist Church in Eatonton, Georgia.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Don McAfee, her sons, Derek McAfee of Pensacola, Florida and Kenny McAfee of Fayetteville, Georgia, four grandchildren, Jackson, Jared and Olivia McAfee of Gray, Georgia and Jase McAfee of Pensacola, Florida, her sister, Faye DeLoach Lancaster of Eatonton, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Ramonia DeLoach of Lee Florida, and her loyal companion dog, Turdie.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother in law, Alma DeLoach Hingson and John C. Hingson of Valdosta, Dorothy DeLoach Smith of Valdosta, brother-in-law Ralph Lancaster of Eatonton, Georgia and a nephew, Allen DeLoach of Valdosta.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 12-2 pm with the service following at 2 pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating.
