Mae W. Tullos 84, of Valdosta died on February 18, 2006, in the Lake Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Pineville, LA to the late Alex & Bertha Dodge White. She grew up in Jonesville, LA and spent most of her adult life in Alexandria, LA. During WWII she worked for the Dept. of the Army as a secretary. She moved to Valdosta in 1983 to live with her son. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Stanley Miller and Margie Tullos of Valdosta; one stepson and his wife, Frank and Brenda Tullos of Metairie, LA; three grandchildren, Kristen, Greg and Dylan Tullos; one sister and brother in law, Eva and Clifford Pease of Cheneyville, LA; one brother and sister in law, Alex and Bobbye White of Alexandria, LA; her faithful dachshund, Chipper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Laney Tullos; two sisters, Lois Kennedy and Vera Morley.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2006 in the Strickland Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Mason officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed on the Obituary page at www.mclandfuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
