Luverne Culpepper Wheeler

Luverne Wheeler, 71, of Lake Park, died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Northside Hospital in Macon, GA. She was born on January 6, 1935 in Echols County, GA to the late James Eull and Cuba Kinsey Culpepper. She was a loan officer with Bank of America and was a member of Forest Street Church of God.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her husband, Lloyd J. Wheeler of Lake Park, three daughters and three sons in law, Donna and John Ramay of Hazlehurst, GA, Tammy and Danny Howell of Macon, GA, Candy and David Davis of Tallahassee, FL, seven grandchildren, Andy Ramay, LeeAnne Ramay, Leah Hanson, Lauren Howell, Veston Ramay, Danny Howell, Jr., and Sarah Davis, two sisters and brothers in law, Elaine and W. R. Henderson, Sandy and Jim Rentz, two brothers and one sister in law, Brooks and Faye Culpepper and Vernon Culpepper, all of Lake Park.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at eleven a. m. at the Forrest Street Church of God with Reverend Wayne Hughes officiating. She will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Kinsey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until nine p. m.
