Luie Arthur "Sonny" Wisenbaker, Iii

Luie Arthur "Sonny" Wisenbaker III, 73, of Dahlonega, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at his residence. He was an avid hunter who loved to entertain people and loved to travel. He was truly loved his family and friends. He retired from the Georgia Power Company. He was a graduate of Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ramsey and Luie Arthur Wisenbaker Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth "Bitty" Parramore Wisenbaker of Dahlonega; son, Luie Arthur Wisenbaker IV of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter, Elizabeth Kimberly and Carlton Murray Johnson Jr. of Cumming, Ga.; sister, Rosland Wisenbaker Griffin of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Carlton Murray Johnson III, John Calvin Johnson, Elizabeth Anne Johnson, Christian Samuel Johnson, all of Cumming, Ga.; nieces, Michelle Griffin Baker of Cumming, Ga., Debra Griffin Haskin of Marietta, Ga., and Nicole Griffin Bini of Cumming, Ga.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend David Tart officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of South Georgia.
