Lucy Gordena Lehman

Lucy Gordena Lehman, 91, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born in Hamilton County, Florida, Mrs. Lehman was a lifelong resident of the Valdosta area. She was a daughter of the late Gordon and Callie Buchanan Huggins. Mrs. Lehman was the widow of the late Carol Lehman, Sr. She was a loving homemaker and mother. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Survivors are her sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Darlene Lehman, Scott and Leah Lehman of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Steve Buckholts, Kelvin Buckholts, Kathy Clanton, Jason Cowart, Mike Cowart, Mitiz Busby, Orvie Smith, Jessie Smith, Callie Moore, Josh Lehman, James Everett, Tia Keene, Scott Lowery, Trevor Lehman, Lance Lehman, Dustin Lehman; 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lehman was preceded in death by three daughters, Georgia Ellen Strickland, Gordean Rentz, and Jerranell Lightsey. A sister, Mary Reaves. A granddaughter, Debbie Jacobs, and a great grandson, Austin Smith.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 11:00 o'clock a.m. Mr. David Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
