Lucille Carlton

Mrs. Lucille Copeland Carlton, 89, of Lakeland, GA, passed away on June 17, 2023. She was born in Brooks County, GA, on August 26, 1933 to the late John Fletcher Copeland and Lucy Davis Copeland. She enjoyed spending time with her family, along with shopping, gardening, and cooking. She will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Carlton is survived by her son, Timothy (Selena) Carlton, of Lakeland, GA; daughter, Pamela Redding, of Valdosta; grandchildren, Eric (Melinda) Carlton, of Valdosta, Timothy J. Carlton, of Hartwell, GA, Blake Carlton, of Valdosta, Corey Fowler of Valdosta, Lance Redding, of Valdosta, and Zackary Ogletree, of Valdosta; and 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy (Ferrell) Sellers of Berlin, GA; 4 brothers, John (Laura) Copeland, of Pavo, GA, Junior (Christine) Boyd, William (Gayle) Boyd, and Donald (Beth) Boyd, all of Berlin, GA. Mrs. Carlton was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Carlton, 3 daughters, Joanne Carlton, Wanda Carlton, Darlene Carlton, a son David Carlton, a grandson, Brandon Carlton and 3 sisters, Louis Copeland, Mae Weeks, and Pauline Boyd Davis.
