Lucile T. Fraser, 81, of Valdosta died on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Fellowship Home following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 14, 1936 in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Shelby and Omie Mixon Tucker. Mrs. Fraser had worked for 17 years as a medical assistant with Dr. Joyce Mixon. After her association with Dr. Mixon she became the co-owner/operator of Tire King Inc. Mrs. Fraser loved to work, loved her church, and loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted and faithful member of Grace Community Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Tammy Fraser of Valdosta, and her daughter, Carol Fraser Wilson of Ocilla, Georgia; her grandchildren and their spouses, Blake and Kayla Wilson of Ocilla, Ashli and Josh Drew of Smithville, Georgia, Brandon and Amber Fraser of Valdosta, Courtney and Kyle Meeks of Lake Park, and Shelby Fraser of Valdosta; three great-grandsons, Case and Cole Wilson and Tucker Drew; her brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Betty Tucker of Enigma, Georgia; two sisters, Estelle Milam of Citra, Florida and Betty Frisoli of Newville, Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace N. Fraser, as well as two brothers and one sister.
Services for Lucile T. Fraser will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Chapel with Elder T.C. Norris officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Grace Community Church.
