Louise S. Wetherington, 98, of Hahira died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Lenox, Georgia on January 1, 1922 to the late Nathan and Nora Wilkes Baker and was a Baptist. Mrs. Wetherington loved to sew and care for children. She was a strong loving mother and friend to others.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Gail and Bob Quinet of Canton, GA; a daughter in law, Beth Wetherington Maloney of Hahira; her grandchildren, Deborah Wetherington Hreha and Jamie Hreha of Marietta, GA, Gregory Robert and Joyce Quinet of Kennesaw, GA, Amy Quinet Clem and Travis Clem of Canton, GA, James D. and Ross Wetherington of Atlanta, GA, Scott Wetherington of Hahira, Cindy and Glenn Bellflower of Waycross; many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Wetherington, two sons and a daughter in law, James Felton Wetherington, Aubrey and Faye Wetherington and nine brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil with Mr. Paul Johnson officiating.
