Louise Johnson Westbrook

Louise Johnson Westbrook, 94 of Largo, FL since 1965, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 in Largo. Born on February 28, 1911 in Thomasville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Noel B. and Tululah T. Johnson and the widow of the late Jesse W. Westbrook who she married in 1939. She taught school in Pinellas County, FL and in Crisp County, GA teaching forty-one years and received the Valley Forge Award for Excellence in Teaching. She was a member of the Republican Women’s Club and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, FL.

Survivors are sisters, Noellen J. Moore of Oxford, GA, Nellie J. Spinks of Ocala, FL; nieces and nephews, Noel Spinks, Nellie J. Spinks, both of Ocala, FL, Ralph H. Hult of Lake Park, GA, Steve N. Johnson of Lake City, FL, Dixie L. Johnson of Darien, GA, Erika J. Roulette of Brandon, Suffolk, England and Valerie J. Peacock of Tallahassee, FL. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph B. Johnson and a sister, Nettie J. Hult both of Valdosta.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time.
