Louise DeLoach, 85, of Hahira died on Tuesday, July 07, 2015 at Heritage House Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born on September 28, 1929 in Lowndes County to the late John and Sally Byrd Sellars and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She retired from Sears Department Store after 20 plus years of service and was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Dan and Cam DeLoach of Savannah; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Phillip Merritt of Hahira; her grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel DeLoach, Alex and Jordan DeLoach, Graham DeLoach, Bryan Merritt, Sara and BJ Szafran, Lora and Jerry McMullen; seven great-grandchildren, Mabry Szafran, Louie McMullen, Nola McMullen, Bruce Phillip McMullen, Margo Merritt McMullen, Nora DeLoach, Mary Catherine DeLoach; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Milton and Pat Sellars of Valdosta; a special friend, Pat Lester of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Daniel DeLoach and two brothers, J.L Sellars and Raymond Sellars.
Services for Louise DeLoach will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Sellars, Mr. Bryan Jarvis, and Mr. John Klimko officiating. Interment will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Raintree Village 3757 Johnston Road Valdosta Georgia 31601.
