Louis Richard Vincent, Jr., 68, of Valdosta died on Friday, February 11, 2011, at Smith Northview Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Cumberland, Maryland he was the son of the late Louis and Emma Staggs Vincent. Mr. Vincent was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had lived in Valdosta for the past 13 years and was retired from Micro Flo. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Patty of Valdosta; a son, Louis (Debra) Vincent of Rawlings, Maryland; a daughter, Emma Trish Vincent of Valdosta; four grandchildren, Glenn, Vanessa, Bobby and Christy; two brothers, Johnny (Brenda) Vincent of Stanford, Virginia, Tommy (Peggy) Vincent of West Minister, Maryland and a sister, Mae Greaser of Elk Gardens, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Vincent, and sisters, Betty Witmer and Teresa Muller.
