Lois Christian Mann, 83, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, formerly of Valdosta and Brunswick, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2004, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Born on January 1, 1921, in Boston, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Lorraine and Mary Connie Stanaland Christian. Mrs. Mann was a graduate of Georgia State Womans College. She was a homemaker and member of Main Street Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, E.C. “Buck” Mann of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; sons, Gibson Mann of Hattiesburg and David Mann of Ashville, North Carolina; six daughters, Madie Pegram of Brunswick, Bonnie Moore of Tifton, Susan Newman of Waycross, Sara Marantz of Cedar Hill, Texas, Deborah Logan of Laurel, Mississippi, and Laura Morgan of Hattiesburg; a brother, Frank Christian of Valdosta; 26 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mann will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the Mann family.
