June 2, 1919 — September 28, 2005

LOIS B. CROSBY, 86, of Valdosta died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the Heritage House Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 2, 1919 in Thomas County to the late Tom and Beatrice Warren and was lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters and sons in law, Shirley and James Grace of Lake Park, Betty Jean and David Lewis of Dasher, Barbara and Bob Elworthy of Lake Park, one son and daughter in law, Jerry and Gayle Crosby of Valdosta, 10-grandchildren, 20-great grandchildren and 1-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her husband, James Crosby, three sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, October 1, 2005 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Mr. Jason Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
