Lois Anderson Fountain

Lois Anderson Fountain, 82, of Valdosta died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Heartwood Nursing Home in Tacoma, WA. She was born in Hahira on May 5, 1927 to the late Bill and Kate Slate Anderson and had lived in this area most of her life before moving from Valdosta in May 2008. Mrs. Fountain was a member of the New Harvest United Methodist Church and retired from Strickland Cotton Mills.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Hale of Tacoma, WA., two granddaughters, Michelle (Sean) Hilger of Tampa, Fla. and Donielle Perkins of Tacoma, WA., three great grandchildren, Tyler McMahan, Cody Perkins and Ryan Hilger and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Fountain and two brothers, Jim Anderson and Lawson Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hauser officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
