Lisa Jo Minter Swann

Lisa Jo Minter Swann, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Valdosta on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the age of 59. Lisa was born on December 23, 1963, in Milledgeville, GA, to Eugene L. Minter, Sr. and Helen J. Mercer Minter, who precede her in death.

Lisa's love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was the driving force in her life. Whether it was drinking coffee and playing a good game of cards or listening to sermons online, she always found joy in spending time with her loved ones. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, and her loving spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Lisa is survived by her son David Swann, Jr., her grandchildren Tristen, Cassidy, Aiden, Tyler, Trenton, Wyatt, and Easton, her two great-grandchildren, and her siblings Terry Hart, Lee Wisenbaker (John, Sr.), Belinda Eudy (David), and Lin Minter (Tracy), all of Valdosta. She is preceded in death by her children, John and Nola, a sister Genie, and a nephew John Wisenbaker, Jr.

Friends and family are invited to the graveside service on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 10 am at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
