Lisa Jarrard

Lisa Jarrard, 48, of Statenville, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. She was born in Valdosta on March 17, 1963 and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She had worked for over 20 years with Bayliner and Regal Marine and she was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her brother, John Jarrard; a niece, Cassandra Jarrard; a nephew, Frankie Jarrard all of Statenville; aunts, Janie Peters and Frances Jarrard both of Statenville; uncles and aunts, Bobby and Sis Jarrard of Hiawassee, Georgia and Tommy and Shirley Jarrard also of Hiawassee; aunts and uncles, Betty Ann and Gary Brotherton of North Carolina, Nancy and Jerry Woods of Suches, Georgia, Johnnie Sue Head of Norcross, Georgia, Homer Jarrard of Florida; numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Velma Ray Jarrard and an uncle, Cecil Jarrard.

Services for Lisa Jarrard will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2011 in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park with Rev. Scott Walker officiating. The burial will follow in the Statenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home.
