Linnie Vickers Parker

Linnie Vickers Parker, 89, of Hahira, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1920 in Hahira to the late Henry D. and Lilly Pauline Webb Vickers. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a member of Pineview Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Raymond and Sharon Parker and Ronny and Ann Parker, all of Hahira, seven grandchildren and their spouses, Kim Parker Fulford, Keith Parker and his wife, Julie, Lisa Parker, Tammy Parker Brooks and her husband, David, Denise Hall and her husband, Darrell, Ron Parker and his wife, Clorissa, Beth Parker Collier and her husband Casey, eleven great grandchildren, Trey Fulford, Race Parker, Parker Allen, Ashlyn Davis, Lindsey Parker, Van Parker, Olivia Brooks, Brinson Hall, Evan Hall, Radney Barnes and Triston Sanders, one brother, Thomas Vickers of Hahira and one sister, Betty Lou Griffis of Warner Robins, GA, her special friends and caregivers, Nancy Alice Creel, Lorraine Thorne and Frances Tidwell. Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Brinson Parker, two brothers, Jimmy Vickers and Paul Vickers and one sister, Nellie Vickers Parker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 at three p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor Phillip Badley and Reverend Stan White officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Thursday at the funeral home.
