Linda Joyce Jones Willis

Linda Joyce Jones Willis, 76, of Cumming, Georgia and formerly of Valdosta, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming following a short illness.  She was born on May 15, 1947, in Valdosta to the late Earl and Irene Rogers Jones and was preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Earl Willis. Mrs. Willis graduated from Lowndes County High School and had attended Morningside Baptist Church locally.  She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, cooking for family and friends, traveling to the mountains and the beach, and drew great pleasure from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  

Mrs. Willis is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jimmie Willis of Cumming; a son, David Willis of Cumming and grandchildren, Brooke Willis, Nicholas Willis, and Brandon Willis of Valdosta; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Sharon Willis and granddaughter Emma Willis of Cartersville; a sister Earlene Champion, a brother, Jerry Jones, and multiple great grand-children, nieces and nephews.

Services for Linda Willis will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev.
