Linda Nell Sant

Linda Nell Sant, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on December 4, 1940, in Pineland, GA, to the late John Franklin Register, Sr. and Bernice Alma Moore Register.

Mrs. Sant was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, finding great joy in her faith and family. She dedicated several years to teaching seminary and caring for children in the nursery. Adventurous by nature, she loved traveling and was always ready for a new experience. In her leisure time, she enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles and exploring recipe books. Mrs. Sant was also an ardent sports enthusiast, taking great delight in watching her grandchildren play the sports they loved.

She is survived by her husband: Jerry P Sant; children: Lynn Brooks, Donna (Tom) Green, Ronnie (Angie) Colbert, Ronda Sant, Elena Sant, and Devin (Anastasia) Sant. Cherished memories will also be treasured by her grandchildren: Kenny (Jesse) Meeks, Kyle (Courtney) Meeks, Matt Brooks, Justin Colbert, Jared Colbert, Heather Owens, and Morgan (Matt) Pearson. She leaves behind a legacy of twenty-four great-grandchildren. Her brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Register, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, also survive her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery.
