Linda Jackson Letourneau

LINDA JACKSON LETOURNEAU, 64, of Jacksonville, Florida and formerly of Valdosta ended her battle with pancreatic cancer Saturday morning October 10, 2009, surrounded by her family at the McGraw Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Linda was born on August 14, 1945, on Anna Maria Island, Florida, to the late Oliver B. Jackson and Lamar B. Jackson. She attended Valdosta High School and was a graduate of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. She will always be remembered for her strength, kindness and grace.

Linda is survived by her husband John W. Letourneau, Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla., sister Patricia Jackson Davis of Valdosta, son, Scott O. Nichols (Jennifer C. Nichols) of Atlanta, and stepsons Michael G. Letourneau (Julie G. Letourneau) of Savannah, and John W. Letourneau, Jr. (Sharon M. Letourneau) of Jacksonville, Fla. and family including six grandchildren.

The memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, at 11:00 a.m., at Christ Episcopal Church with Father Peter Ingeman officiating. She will be interred close to both parents at her home parish of Christ Episcopal Church in Valdosta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice of Valdosta or Jacksonville.
