Linda Gail Kight

Linda Gail Kight, 71, of Valdosta, passed away at Langdale Hospice House on Saturday, February 27, 2016. A daughter of Inez Harrison Linton and the late Sears Roebuck Linton, Linda was born on October 7, 1944, in Port St. Joe, Florida. During the 1970's and 80's she worked at South Georgia Medical Center as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Known for her servant's heart, Linda was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors are her children and their spouses, Tracy and Kyle Weitala of Columbia, South Carolina, Suzanne and John Feazell of Guyton, Georgia, Chad and Christina Harrison of Valdosta; grandchildren, Derieck Daniels of Hahira, Trevor Daniels of Ft. Lee, Virginia, Nickolas Harrison, John Mark Harrison, Noah Harrison, Sarah Grace Harrison of Valdosta; great grandchildren, Autumn Daniels, Tyson Daniels, Reid Daniels of Hahira, Tait Daniels, Rylee Daniels, John Luke Daniels of Nashville; her mother, Inez Barnard of Colquitt; brothers, Johnny Linton and Sankie Linton of Port St. Joe, Florida, Rick Redd of Colquitt; sister, Robin Griffin also of Colquitt, several nieces and nephews; her former husband and his wife, Farney and Cathy Harrison; and Eli, her four legged friend.
Funeral services for Linda Gail Kight will be held in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Carrol Joye officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon until service time.
