Linda Faye Wood Golden, 75, of Lake Park passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on September 22, 1942 in Tifton to the late Louie and Susie Cox Wood. Ms. Golden loved crocheting. She also had a green thumb. Ms. Golden was very sociable, and she loved people and her neighbors. She never forgot a birthday for anyone. She was a member of Enoch Creek Church.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Dewonne and Dewey Fountain of Lake Park; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Kathy Rodgers of Middleburg, FL; sons, Johnny Ernest Rodgers and Shawn Sikes of Kentucky; grandchildren, Amanda and Travis Skinner, Justin and April Fountain, Heather and Paul Pucket, Randy Rodgers, Corrie and Jeremy Duncan, Misty Rodgers, Jimmy Cole, Darrien Cole, Todd Hudson, Mason Sikes, Bella Sikes, and Mallory Sikes; several great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Gwen Wood, Randy and Teresa Wood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne and Larry Mitchell, Joyce and Jimmy Allbriton, and Joan Roberts; special sister-in-law, Fran Westmoreland; special brother-in-law, Russell Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. She is remembered and loved by all whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rossie Rodgers, her daughter, Glenda Hudson, and two sisters, Betty Pack, and Dot Wood.
Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Zach Corbett and Reverend Mickey Corbett officiating.
