Linda B. Peeples

Linda B. Peeples, 69, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center in Lakeland, GA. She was born on September 24, 1940 in Reidsville, NC to the late C. D. and Edna Barker. Mrs. Peeples was a homemaker and a member of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. She worked at Valdosta State University and was a secretary in the President's office. Mrs. Peeples was a member of AAUW, PPO and a member of Daughter's of the King.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale H. Peeples on April 27, 1997 and is survived by two sons, David H. Peeples of Valdosta and John C. Peeples of Raleigh, NC, two sisters and brothers in law, Sara and Milton Kelly of Inverness, FL and Rebecca and Eric Houghton of Dunedin, FL, one brother and sister in law, David and Marsha Barker of Jasper, FL, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at eleven a. m. at the graveside in Sunset Hill Cemetery with The Reverend Denise Rohn and Deacon Karyl Miller officiating. Burial Will follow. The family will recieve friends Thursday from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603 or to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
