Linda A. Morgan, 86, of Valdosta, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home. She was born in Evart, MI on May 1, 1926 a daughter of the late Sylvester and Arella Sissem DeWitt.
Mrs. Morgan retired as Chief Lt. of Security at Kimberly Clark in Connecticut. She was of the Catholic faith, Past Auxiliary President and auxiliary member of the Eagles Club in Connecticut, and was "Commanding General" at home. She was a very loving person, she loved her family and enjoyed going to the ocean.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Scott of Adel, Coleen Couturier of Adel, and Candy Hurley and husband Clyde of Somers, CT; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Craig Couturier and Diane of Bainbridge, Jack Couturier and Phyllis of Ft. Worth, TX, and James Morgan, Jr. and Kimberly of Lake Park; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters. In addition to her husband, James E. Morgan, Sr., she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Roy Scott.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Langdale Hospice House.
