Lillian May

Lillian May, 91 of Lake City, FL died on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at The Health Center of Lake City after a brief illness. Born on May 16, 1913 in Eastman, GA, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillie Atkinson. She was a member of the Forrest Street Church of God in Valdosta and a member of the Evangel Church of God in Lake City.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John H. and Dana May of Lake City; a daughter and son-in-law, Lillie L. and Odell Cowart of Valdosta; and a brother and sister-in-law, Buford and Lola Mae Atkinson of Eastman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren L. May.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Hughes and Pastor John Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
