Leroy Daniels

LEROY DANIELS, 81, of Valdosta died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at his home after a short illness. He was born in Clearwater, Florida on June 3, 1924 to the late Mack and Alice Daniels and had lived here most of his life. Mr. Daniels was retired from Owens-Illinois and veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Kathleen and Lucius W. Moore of Valdosta, grandson and granddaughter in law, Scott and Mindy Moore of Valdosta, three great grandchildren, Christian Moore, Brooke Moore and Brittni Moore all of Valdosta, his wife, Madeline Daniels of Valdosta, two stepsons, Walter Dasher and Wendell Dasher both of Valdosta, three step grandchildren, Jeb Dasher, Brandi Dasher and Stephanie Davis all of Valdosta, sister and brother in law, Hazel and Bobby Thompson of Moultrie, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 57 years, Clyde Cowart Daniels.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, October 14, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
