Leonard Hatfield, Jr., 86, of Lake Park passed away at his residence on August 31, 2015. He was born in Delbarton, West Virginia on November 22, 1928 to the late Leonard Sr. and Effie Star Hatfield. After serving in the United States Air Force he went to work for Eastern Airlines in Orlando, FL. He remained with the company until his retirement and then purchased a farm in Madison, FL. Mr. Hatfield worked with the Madison School System allowing students to farm his land to satisfy grade requirements. After his years of farming, he moved to Lake Park where he resided for the past 12 years.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Nadine Hatfield of Clermont, FL, Jeff and Dawn Hatfield of Orlando, FL, a daughter and son-in-law, Patrina and Chuck Sloan of Orlando, FL; three granddaughters, Morgan Hatfield, Anna Makenzie Hatfield of Clermont, FL, Emily Sloan of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Peral Hall of Delbarton, WV, Fern Maynard of Novato, CA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Herbert, Annie, Virginia, Adern, Bertha, Verna, Emma, and Effie L.
