Lena M. Holcomb

Lena M. Holcomb, 78, of Adel, died at home after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Born on April 24, 1930 in Ellijay, she was the daughter of the late Blumer and Dora Mae Fowler Cochran. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Ann Holcomb of Quitman, Dan and Elonda Holcomb of Valdosta; grandsons, Timothy Holcomb and William Holcomb, both of Quitman, Justin Holcomb of Adel; brothers and sister-in-law, Johnny Cochran, James Cochran, Junior and Gail Cochran, all of Ellijay. Mrs. Holcomb was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Ray Holcomb.

Services will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the Riverview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Peter Ingeman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
