Leland L. Robinson

LELAND L. ROBINSON, 80, of Hahira died Monday, March 26, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Kendrick, Florida on February 26, 1927 to the late Joseph Carl and Flonnie Bell Harris Robinson and had lived Hahira and Roswell, New Mexico before returning to Hahira in 2003. Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the United States Navy and Army. He was a retired electrician and a Baptist.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Rosi Crouch of Santee, Calif., a stepson, Carl Jelsovsky of Spring Valley, Calif., three sisters, Hazel Strawder of Ray City, Ruth Treadwell of Valdosta and Mary Ann Brown of Hahira, three brothers, Joe Robinson and E. J. Robinson both of Muscogee, Oklahoma and Johnny Robinson of Dunn, NC., numerous nieces and nephews, stepgrandchildren, Sean Crouch, Jessica Tresser, Chandra Morton and Craig Jelsovsky and several step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Handlos Robinson, a sister, Doris Pickett and three brothers, Jim (Billy) Robinson, Ronald Robinson and Charles Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, April 1, 2007 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
