Leland James Young

Leland James Young, 71, of Naylor died Friday, January 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 16, 1946 in Mobile, AL to the late James Young and Margaret Hall Young. Mr. Young was retired from Union Camp. He was a Baptist. Mr. Young enjoyed hunting and four wheeling with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Betty J. Young of Naylor, daughter, Dana Young of Naylor, son and daughter in law, Stacy and Renita Young of Valdosta, two grandsons, Blake Young and Hunter Young, special friend, Mike Scott of Mayo, FL and sister, Ramona Snyder of Palmer, Alaska. Mr. Young is preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister, Lanette Lutz and his brother, Ronald Kent Young.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at four p. m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Lt. Marcus Haynes from the Valdosta Fire Department officiating. The family will receive friends from three until four p. m. prior to the service.
