Lela Belle Wooley

Lela Belle Wooley, 89, of Lake Park, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Presbyterian Home after a lengthily illness. She was born August 29, 1920 in Ruston, LA to the late Grover and Jessie Black.
Mrs. Wooley was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, M. C. Jr., & Anne Wooley, of Lake Park, Thomas Scott & Geni Wooley, Sr. of Sulphur, LA: grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie & Kevin McDaniel, Winder, Jeff & Lesa Wooley, Lake Park, Scott, Jr. & Valerie Wooley, Atlanta, Lea Wooley of Lake Park: nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. C. Wooley, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at the McLane Lakewood Chapel in Lake Park with the Rev. William Warnock officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wooley’s family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Tuesday.
