Leah O'Quinn Croft, 91, of Nashville, GA and formerly of Fargo, GA died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, GA. She was born September 17, 1924 in the Barrett's community of Lowndes County, GA to the late David E. O'Quinn and Mary Ella Williams O'Quinn. Mrs. Croft is a retired clerk from the United States Postal Service in Fargo, GA. She was a dedicated church member for over sixty years and served as bookkeeper for the majority of those years at Edith Baptist Church, Fargo, GA. In her later years she was an attendee of Riverside Baptist Church in Nashville, GA.
Mrs. Croft is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Croft Highsmith (Dell) of Cleveland, GA, Marlene Croft Garrett, one daughter-in-law, Debbie Gay Croft, Jacksonville, FL, six grandchildren, Ronald Highsmith (Beverly), Cami Shadburn (Michael), Christopher Croft (Simone), Will Croft (Maria), Laura Baldree (Ken), Jada Humphress (Jeb), sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy three years, Shelton Herbert Croft of Nashville, GA, son, Jerry Croft, two sisters, Grace O'Quinn Sessoms and Pauline O'Quinn Jett, two brothers Irvin O'Quinn and Lewis O'Quinn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Futch officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from ten thirty a. m. until service time at the funeral home.
