Lakyn Elizabeth Raulerson

Lakyn Elizabeth Raulerson, 36, of Hahira, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 10, 1988 in Valdosta to Lisa Barrett Raulerson and the late Lamar Raulerson. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Lakyn was special to all who knew her and was so easy to love.  She loved watching game shows and the Braves, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.  She liked singing Happy Birthday and listening to church online each Sunday.  She had an infectious smile that would light up a room and will be fiercely missed.  

Lakyn is survived by her mother, Lisa Raulerson of Hahira; sisters, Lindsey Martin, of Hahira, and Lauren Tuohey (PJ), of Hahira; her nieces Anna Kate Tuohey and Mary Elizabeth Martin, nephew Jase Tuohey; her uncle Billy Raulerson, of Statenville, GA; her grandparents, Joyce and Walter Barrett of Dasher, uncles Jeff Barrett (Debbie), Clark Barrett (Brenda), Mark Barrett (Kim) and Todd Barrett (Amy) and aunt Bonnie Guthrie (Deland) and her special caregiver, Candice Daniels.  

A funeral service for Lakyn will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Deland Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow at Wayfare Cemetery.
