Laura Hiers Knight

Laura Hiers Knight, 34, of Valdosta died on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Born in Vero Beach, Florida on July 30, 1986, Laura was the daughter of Jerry Lamar Hiers and Nancy Sue Walker Hiers. She grew up in Valdosta, attended Lowndes High School and graduated in 2004. She continued her education at Wiregrass Technical College and pursued a career in sales.
Laura was a fun-loving free spirit, very outgoing and spontaneous with a great sense of humor. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend.

Surviving are her daughter, Madeline Knight of Valdosta, her mother, Nancy Hiers of Valdosta, her father, Lamar Hiers of Lake City, Florida; sisters and brothers in law, Iris Vann of Valdosta, Rachel and John Johnson, Jr. of Valdosta, Marla and Zac Rountree of Hahira; nieces and nephews, Hannah Bryant, Matthew Bryant, Emma Grace Vann, Faith Johnson, Suzanna Rountree, Silas Rountree; great nephew, Elijah Bryant; former husband, Travis Chase Knight.
