Laura Eileen Fuller, 44 of Valdosta died on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at her residence. Born on March 13, 1960 in Montrose, CO she was the daughter of Carl and Marvel Marsh Burtis of Oakridge, TN. She moved to Valdosta in 2001 and attended Open Bible Baptist Church. Laura loved children and life and had a sparkling sense of humor. Her wit was widely acknowledged by family and friends. For example, once when a customer at a hotel in Atlanta where she was working complained about the food in the restaurant, Laura answered by saying “Sir, I apologize, obviously you got the food that was meant for staff.” She had a special love for her cats and was always able to relay wonderful stories of her life with them.
