Larry "Pete" C. Perdue Sr.

Larry "Pete" C. Perdue Sr., 75, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Fellowship Home. He was born July 6, 1938 in Wyoming County, West Virginia, to the late William Edward Perdue and Harriett Workman Perdue. He was a resident of Valdosta for the past 44 years. Tech Sgt. Perdue was a proud retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Perdue.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Richard Flynt of Alpharetta, GA; son and daughter-in-law Larry C. Jr. and Paula Perdue of Pensacola, FL; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Malinda Perdue of Omaha, NE; eight grandchildren, Justin Howell, Kristyn Brunson (Zack), Lynsay Flynt, Makenzie Flynt, Ellis Perdue, Heather Dove (Jason), Jennifer Perdue, and Larry C. Perdue III.

Services with full military honors for TSgt. Perdue will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 in the mausoleum chapel at McLane's Riverview Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Jeff May will officiate.
