Laquita Parrish Mcleod

LaQuita Parrish McLeod, 84, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 following a short illness. She was born on August 3, 1935 in Lowndes County to the late Joe Brown Patten and Carrie McDonald. She graduated school from Lake Park and married Aubrey Sheldon Parrish. She retired after many years of dedicated service with Bell South (AT&T) as an operator. Mrs. McLeod was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Aubrey F. Parrish of Lake City, Florida, and Lane and Cathy Parrish of Statenville; two grandsons and their spouses, Jonathan and Jessica Parrish, and Cameron and Valerie Parrish; three great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Kinsley, and Ridge Parrish; her sister, Vivian Rumker; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Parrish, and Raymond McLeod.
