Kevin Ross

Kevin Ross, 62, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Fellowship Home of Brookside. Mr. Ross was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the late Marcus Bo Ross and Doris Gustane Ross. Mr. Ross was a certified electrician who worked for Quality Electric for over 20 years and First Line Corporation for 13 years. He loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden which he shared with his family and friends. He was a member of Lennox Baptist Church in Lennox, GA.
Mr. Ross is survived by his wife Bonnie Touchton Ross, of Valdosta; his sons, Curtis and Samantha Ross, of Fort Worth, TX, and Jason and Dr. Elizabeth Ross of Yucca Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Layla Bo and Gunner Ross of Fort Worth, TX, Hannah, Andrew, and Breanna Ross of Yucca Valley, CA; a very special sister and brother-in-law Matt and Evelyn Jackson of Valdosta, GA; and special nephews and niece, SSGT Garrett Jackson of Jacksonville, NC, Ashley and Katie Jackson of Valdosta, GA; brother and sister-in-law David and Paula Ross of Lake Park, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Doug and Susan Brown of Albuquerque, NM; and brother-in-law Fred Touchton of Valdosta, GA; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law Fred and Lorena Touchton of Valdosta, GA.
Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bussey and Mr. Justin Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Copeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
