Kevin Paul Young, 63, of Hahira, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. He was born on September 2, 1958, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to the late Paul Young and Lorraine Hauk Synders. He served in the U.S. Air Force for over 23 years and was the owner operator of Valdosta Pest Control. He enjoyed playing pickleball and was nationally rated for racquet ball. He loved working in his yard and was very involved in Toastmasters. He was an active member at the YMCA. He was a quiet servant to others, especially the elderly. He was a handy man and loved to travel, spend time at the beach, and with his granddaughters.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife Pam Young, of Hahira; two sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Courtney Young, of Maryland, Cameron and Kayla Young, of Lake Park; two granddaughters Emma Gray Young and Hadley Ann Young, both of Lake Park; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Carol Young, Dan and Barb Young, and Greg and Tammy Young, all of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Jeffery Bard, Mary and Darren Chester, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Karen and Mark Hofer, of Tea, South Dakota, and Stacy and Lyle Olesen, of Madison, South Dakota.
