Kenneth W. "Kenny" Mcmullen

Kenneth Woodard McMullen, 62, of Valdosta, died Monday, July 8, 2013. He was born on September 3, 1950 to the late J.K. McMullen, Jr. and Eloise Woodard McMullen. He was a graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta State University. Kenny was a loving father and grandfather, a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and worked most of his life as a tobacco farmer. He could often be found in the mornings at the Gold Plate Restaurant eating breakfast and visiting with his friends.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Myron and Jessica Crowe of Hahira; one granddaughter, Catherine Crowe of Hahira; one brother, Robert Michael (Mike) McMullen of Dasher; two nieces, Diana Michelle (Phillip)Storey of Lake Park and Jane Elizabeth Anderson of Clayton; one nephew, Michael Joseph McMullen of Dasher; uncles, Evans (Lenora) McMullen, Ellis (Pat) McMullen of Dasher, J.C. (Judy) McMullen of Lake Park and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susan Lorraine McMullen.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. McMullen at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Dasher Cemetery. Mr. Evans McMullen and Mr. J.C. McMullen will officiate.
