Kenneth O'Steen

Kenneth O’Steen, 87, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Coffee County, Georgia on July 9, 1937 to the late Walter O’Steen and Mary Lott O’Steen. Mr. O’Steen served honorably in the U.S. Army infantry and retired after 22 years, he then worked for a time at SAFT in Valdosta. 

Mr. Osteen is survived by his wife, Hui Chong O’Steen of Valdosta; sons Johnothan O’Steen (Jenny), and Michael O’Steen, both of Valdosta; his stepson Andrew Wilson (Becky), of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Kaleigh O’Steen, Kinsley O’Steen, Benjamin Wilson, and Ava Wilson; his brother and sister-in-law, James and Anita O’Steen; sisters-in-law, Sharon O’Steen and Annise O’Steen. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Joe O’Steen, Bobby O’Steen, and Lamar O’Steen.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
